Carlson SurvCE 2.56 and higher supports the Topcon GRS1 GPS handheld

You need to download and install the file "SurvCE_WM6_Portrait_HDPI.exe" from the current Public Release version at the
link below:
Carlson
SurvCE Public Download page

The "Windows Mobile 6_Portrait_HDPI" build of SurvCE is the only version of SurvCE that will have "GRS1" listed as a
Model to choose from in the Equip tab under GPS Base or GPS Rover when you set your "Manufacturer:" to Topcon.

1) Connect to your cellphone solution in Windows Mobile before you launch SurvCE with either Wifi or a Dialup Bluetooth
connection or Internal Modem

2) Start SurvCE and tap the Equip tab then tap GPS Rover

3) In the Current tab set it to "Manufacturer: Topcon" and "Model: GRS-1"

4) Tap the Comms tab and set it for "Type: Cable" and set your "Port:" to "Com 6" and your Baud Rate to "115200"

5) Tap the Receiver Tab and make sure that PG_A1 (P/N: 01-840201-06) antenna is selected. Normally SurvCE will default
to this External PGA1 GPS antenna

6) Tap the RTK Tab
  a. Set the Device: to "Data Collector Internet" at the bottom of the list
  b. Set your Network method to "NTRIP"
  c. set the RTK Port to "Data"
  d. Tap the “wrenches” icon next to “Network: Ntrip” to fill out your IP Address, Port number, Username and Password
then tap the Green Check to load your base options

Modem setup for Step #1 should be completed outside of SurvCE in the Windows Mobile environment in a similar way as
other Intermal Modems and Bluetooth Phone profiles are created
