If you wish to convert your Eagle Point → Node (Field Code) Library for use in Carlson Software:

  1. Launch into an Eagle Point project and from the Eagle Point Main Menu, click System → Node (Field Code) Library.
  2. Click on the Manage Field Code Library icon toward the upper right of the Node (Field Code) Library dialog box.
  3. In the resulting dialog box, there should be an Export option that will allow you to export the definitions of your field codes out to a text file. Give the file a *.txt extension.

Once exported, start Carlson and issue the following commands:

  1. Survey → Draw Field to Finish
  2. Click on Set to establish a Field Code Definition (*.fld) file
  3. Once established, click on Edit Codes/Points.
  4. Click on Code Table Settings followed by Import Eagle Point Codes.

You'll probably want to enable the "Process Eagle Point Coding" toggle and review the Eagle Point Special Codes.

Locate any block symbols somewhere in the AutoCAD/IntelliCAD Support File Search path.
