This is a rough set of instructions for manually creating a Bluetooth
Cellphone connection using a Sprint Phone with Socket Bluetooth

!!!WARNING!!!  You will need an UNLIMITED data plan on your Cellphone
before using your cellphone to connect to the Internet for using it with
the GPS Reference networks !!!



1) Open the Start Menu by tapping the very bottom edge of the Screen -or- hold the CTRL key and tap the ESC Key 
 a.  Tap the blue "B" Icon in the bottom right corner
 b.  make sure the Bluetooth is turned on
 c.  Tap the "B" icon / tap Advanced Features / tap My Bluetooth Devices	
 d.  Make sure the box is checked for Connectable
 e.  Tap comms tab and make sure the Box is checked for Bluetooth Phone
 f.   Tap OK in the upper right to accept the changes

2) Tap the BT Icon / tap Get Connected / tap Next and follow the prompts to select the Bluetooth Phone and Bond to it

3) On your Cellphone it prompts for a Passkey / enter in "1234" / tap OK or enter

4) Then type in the exact same number "1234" on the Data Collector when it prompts for it

5) Now go into the Start Menu / Settings / Network and Dialup / tap the File pull-down in the Upper Left / tap New /
type in SPRINT for the name / tap Next

6) Pick Bluetooth Phone from the top of the Pulldown List / tap Next / for the Phone Number enter in the code below then
tap Finish to return to the Network and Dialup window

7) Double-Tap on the "SPRINT" icon we just created
  Fill out this screen exactly using the information below:
    Username: "yourvisionusername@sprintpcs.com" 
    Password:  "your vision password" 
(If you don't know your Username & Password contact Sprint Tech Support and they will help)


8) Check the box for "Save Password" then tap the Connect Button

9) tap "Dial Properties" / tap Edit in bottom right / Enter just G in each
of the 3 boxes and hit the ENTER key on keyboard once all 3 boxes have just
the letter G in them / tap OK
!NOTE: if you tap the X in the upper right instead of hitting the Enter Key
the changes won't save

10)  It should display a series of messages:
Opening Port
Dialing #777
User Authenticated
Device Connected
Connected

11) Once it says "Connected" you can tap the Hide button

At this point you should be connected to the Internet
