This is in regards to checking and updating the firmware on a Carlson CR+ robot.
First - power on your CR+ instrument and use the steps below so we can check the current firmware installed:
1) Double-tap Geomax Toolkit
2) tap "2. Sysinfo"
3) Then tap "Page 2" in the top left
4) Check what is shown for the "GeoMax Toolkit" version
If it shows a Geomax Toolkit version that is lower than 4.00.76 you can use the steps below to upgrade to the newest
firmware.
***Updating the Carlson CR+ Firmware:***
1. Download the "Zoom90" firmware with a file name "Zoom70_90_en.fw" from the link below:

Type in the Password below to download the file:
csw
2. Power off the CR+ instrument and insert an SD card then power the instrument on to format the SD card
3. Power the CR+ back off and remove the SD card
4. Copy the "GeoMax_Zoom90_en.fw" file you downloaded in Step #1 into the System folder on the SD card you removed from
the instrument
5. Insert the SD card back into the CR+ instrument and power the instrument back on
6. Double-tap Geomax Toolkit
7. Press "3" for Apps then press "1" for Update
8. Press F1 for firmware then Press ok and Press yes to proceed
10. The total station may restart itself several times during this process
