Some total stations allow the user to set the "N-times" measurement setting to multiple. Perhaps a user wants to turn
set collection and would like the instruments EDM to measure 3 times and provide the average measurement to the data
collector.
A conflict exists if the instrument is set to multiple shots. The correct way to accomplish multiple EDM shots averaged
is to set SurvCE to average. The common example we hear is when a user wants to turn 3 sets and 3 measurements to each
part of that set. They have the instrument set to 3 times measurement. This causes missed data and failed shots.
DO NOT SET YOUR INSTRUMENT TO MULTIPLE TIMES MEASUREMENT. SET SURVCE TO MULTIPLE SHOTS.
