Some of our customers are reporting that they are unable to establish a Bluetooth Connection with our field software.
The steps below may resolve these issues that are reported for Getac and Panasonic tablets:
- Go to "Control Panel - Uninstall a Program" and uninstall BTup Service (Windows will restart after).
- Go to "Control Panel - Uninstall a Program" and select Intel(R) PROSet/Wireless Software for Bluetooth(R)
Technology.
- Select "Change" and then pick the "Remove" option (Windows will restart after).
- Download the file "BT_Driver_v3.1-pv6_Win8.1_Win64_Install zip", below.
The Password to access the file is: password
- Right-click on the zipped file and choose "Extract All..."
- Once extracted, double-click on the Setup.exe file, and install by following the prompts.
- Restart Windows after the Bluetooth installer completes.
- Launch SurvPC and remove the instrument from the Bluetooth Device List.
- Tap "Search" to search for the instrument again.
- You should be able to connect to the instrument now.
