Created: 2015-03-11Last modified: 2015-03-11
To use the SuperG as just an SBAS mapping grade receiver you could use the steps below:

1) Go into Equip / GPS Rover and in the “Current” tab tap the “Save” button to save your current settings to something such as “Network Rover” and tap the Green Check

2) Then go to Equip / GPS Rover / Receiver tab and tap the “Advanced” button and check the box for “Use SBAS” and tap the Green Check to return to the Receiver tab

3) Tap the RTK tab and change the device to “Cable or Generic Device” with the RTK port set to “Com2” and tap the Green Check to save your changes.

4) Go to Equip / Configure and in the General Tab UNcheck the boxes for “Store Fixed Only (GPS)” and “Store verified fixed only (GPS)” and tap the Green Check to save your changes

5) Now go back to Equip / GPS Rover and in the Current tab tap the “Save” button to save these new L1 settings to something such as “L1 Rover” and tap the Green Check

This will allow you to go to Equip / GPS Rover and double-tap which Saved Profile you want to use and tap YES to switch between a Network RTK Fixed rover and an L1 SBAS rover setup.

When changing to Network Rover make sure to check your Equip / Tolerances to see that its set low such as HSDV: 0.10 ft and VSDV: 0.20 ft then go to Equip / Config and check the box for Store Fixed Only.

The only setting that won’t get automatically set is the Equip / Config / Store Fixed only.
