This is in regards to the Leica Viva CS15 data collector with SurvCE 2.62 and higher
***PLEASE NOTE: If you are running SurvCE 2.61 or older these keyboard shortcuts are not supported.
On the Viva CS15 you can hold the F11 key then tap the corresponding Letter
shown in the first row below to get the 2nd row symbol to show.
For example holding F11 then tapping N on the keyboard generates a "," comma symbol

To access SurvCE keyboard shortcuts you can use F7 as the ALT key
For Example: you can hold F7 then tap "W" for the "Alt-W" SurvCE write note shortcut
