This is in regards to installing SurvCE Version 2.62 dated Jan. 26th 2013 into a Leica Viva CS15 landscape data collector if you don't have access to the USB cable for connecting to your computer.

Please follow the steps below to install SurvCE using an SD card:

1) Right-click on the link below click "Save As" or "Save Target As" to save this file as all one piece {1 file} to your Desktop:

SurvCE_Viva_Landscape.arm.CAB

2) After the download is complete = copy this single file "SurvCE_Viva_Landscape.arm.CAB" from your Computer onto a Secure Digital flash memory "SD Card" 

3) Insert the Secure Digital flash memory "SD Card" into the Viva CS15 in the slot under the black rubber cover on top of the data collector by turning the screws to remove it.
  
4) Power on the Viva CS15 and exit out of SurvCE or SmartWorx to get to the Windows CE screen 
  
5) Double-tap "My Device"/ double-tap "SD Card" / double-tap the SurvCE.CAB file we copied in Step #2 

6) If you are prompted to Re-Install tap "YES".
  
7) Tap OK in the Upper right when it gives you a choice where to install it {DO NOT Select any folders or change anything when prompted for a folder = only tap OK} 
  
8) After the Status Bar finishes you can tap "X" in the upper right to close the File Explorer.

9) Now you can double-tap the SurvCE Icon then tap Continue Last Job and tap Equip / then tap About SurvCE to see the Version and check to make sure it has been updated properly
