If you have re-installed, or updated, your Carlson Survey 2009 to the latest build posted on our website, you may have noticed that some menu options in drop-downs have been removed.
In order to gain those options back you will need to download the menu file below and use it to replace the file currently loaded to your program.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT MODIFYING YOUR CUI WILL CHANGE ANY CUSTOMIZATIONS THAT YOU HAVE MADE TO THE PROGRAM.  RELOADING THE CUI WILL SET THE PROGRAM MENUS BACK TO THEIR DEFAULT SETTINGS.

The location for the SURV.CUI is:
C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Application Data\Carlson Software\Carlson Software 2009\R2009\enu\Support.

1- Rename the existing SURV.CUI to SURV090909.CUI, before copying the attached replacement into the folder.

2- Open the Carlson program and exit the Startup Wizard, if it opens.

3- Type:  menu    in the command line.  Then, click Enter.  This will open a window titled Select Customization File, with the default file being SURV.CUI.  Click Open.

4- This will change your drop-down menus to only show GIS, Window, Help, File, Edit, and View.  You will need to exit the program and reopen it to reconfigure the drop-down menus.
