File Explorer Extension v2.05

When it comes to file operations, the default Windows Mobile File Explorer is quite limited. This is a freeware by Hou Ming that addresses all the missing features that should have been included in the Windows Mobile stock File Explorer.

1. Click the link below to download the CAB file "WM6_File_Explorer.CAB" (File Explorer Extension v2.05).
2. Copy it into the "Storage" folder of your Surveyor+
3. Double-tap this file on the data collector screen and when prompted install it to "Device"
4. After installing you can go to Start / Programs / File Explorer to see the new "File Explorer Extension"

It shows all File Extensions and you can tap and hold in a blank spot on the screen for even more options. It is a FREE software to install and use.

Total Commander 2.52

You can try the steps below for a Surveyor2 or Mini2 data collector running Windows Mobile 6.5 Embedded:

1. Click the link below to download the CAB file "cecmd.arm.cab" (Total Commander 2.52).
2. Copy this file from your computer on to a USB Thumb drive or directly into the "My Documents" folder in the data collector
3. Browse to the file in your data collector using File Explorer then Double-tap this file to install Total Commander and when prompted install it to "Device"
4. After installing the software you can tap the Start symbol in the bottom left and scroll down then tap the blue Floppy Disk icon labeled "Total Commander"

To exit out of this software tap "File" in the bottom left then tap the >>>>> symbol at the top of the menu and tap "Exit"
