Here is a rough guide if you would like to try using Bluetooth File Explorer on an Allegro, 600+ or Explorer to connect
bluetooth to the Carlson Surveyor+
Step #1 - Install Bluetooth FTP support to the Surveyor+

1) Click the link below and save the file "BTftp.CAB" to your Desktop or Laptop computer:

2) Copy this CAB file over to the Surveyor+ into the "Storage" folder using USB ActiveSync
3) On the Surveyor+ tap File / tap Programs / tap File Explorer
4) Browse to the "Storage" folder by tapping in the upper left pull-down then tapping "Storage"
5) Tap once on "BTftp" to run the installation program / tap Install to install this on the "Device" option
6) Tap OK once its finished installing / then reset the Surveyor+ by holding the On_Off for 5 seconds then tap "Reset"
to reboot it
Step #2 - Turn on Bluetooth and enable FTP

1) On the Surveyor+ tap Start / Settings / Connections
2) Tap the Bluetooth Icon
3) Tap the MODE tab and check the boxes for "Turn on Bluetooth" and "Make the device discoverable"
4) Tap the "FTP" tab and check the box for "Enable Bluetooth Explorer" and "Enable File Sharing"
--> Also make note of the Bluetooth Shared Folder in this screen "My DocumentsBluetooth Share"
5) Tap OK to save these settings
Step # 3 - Use your Explorer 600+ or AllegroCX or Explorer to run Bluetooth File Transfer

1) At this point you would need to run Bluetooth File Transfer on the other data collector
2) Bond to the Surveyor+ and save it as a "Favorite Connection" if you are prompted for that
3) You should be able to send and receive files to the Surveyor+ folder "My DocumentsBluetooth Share" using the
Bluetooth Explorer program on the other collector without any extra steps on the Surveyor+ itself
