This is the recommended method for commuting a network license. The procedure requires that the individual, who is looking to use the license on an off-site computer, would, initially, have direct access to the network.
Please download the Direct Commute.zip, which can be found, as an attachment, below.
The zip file will contain instructions for commuting a license, as well as the tools needed to perform the "check out". The license tools are specific to the version of Sentinel RMS that is installed on your server.
If you receive and "Error 25" when attempting to check out a license; you are likely using the wrong commute tools. If you need to send a network license to a remote user; you will need to follow the method described in Knowledge Base article #218.
