This is how To Disable the WiFi {wireless internet connection} that is built-in to the Carlson Explorer 600+

- This will conserve Battery Power in the field when you don't need a WiFi connection
- This will also Prevent the Wireless Information box from popping up
  every time you turn on the Explorer 600+

1) Tap the Blue "2nd" function key then tap the "W" key to open up the start menu

2) Tap Settings / Control Panel = double Tap "Aux Swit..." and set Power-Up State and Test to OFF / tap OK

3) Double-Tap "AuxCF Slot" / tap Disabled / tap OK

4) Tap the X in the Upper Right to close the Control Panel

5) Tap the Blue "2nd" function key then tap "W" to open the Start Menu / Programs / Tools = tap "Warm Boot" / tap Yes

***You have now Disabled the Internal WiFi to save Power and to prevent the "Available Wifi" box from popping up each
time you turn on the Explorer 600+***

!!! When you are ready to use the Built-In Wifi !!!
1) Repeat steps 1 through 3 but turn both Aux Switch values to "ON" and turn AuxCF Slot to "Enabled" 
2) Now follow steps 4 & 5 to perform a Warm Boot

***Now the Wifi is enabled and ready to use.  When you are finished using it you can simply disable the Wifi again
before heading out into the Field to save power and prevent the pop-up
