Try minimizing the drawing window to see if you can find the command line.

If your command line is still missing, you may need to edit the registry in order to get it back.

IMPORTANT: This article contains information about editing the registry. Before you edit the registry, make sure you understand how to restore it if a problem occurs.
Go to the following key in the registry and set its value to the number 0 (zero).

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Carlson Software/Carlson Software/R2002/STAR-6:409/Fixed Profile/Command Line Window/

One at a time, hightlight and delete two line which start with "DockWindow.".

Close registry editor.
Open Carlson Survey again, the command line should be back.

Open Windows Explorer.
Navigate to:

C:\Documents and Settings\
     {Your user name}\
        Application Data\
           Carlson Software\
              Carlson Software 2004\
                 R2004\
                    enu\
                        Support\
                           Profiles\

Find a file named FixedProfile.aws (extension may be hidden on your system) and delete it.
This may restore to default some other settings on your system, but your command line will be back where it belongs.
