This is in regards to checking and upgrading the firmware in a Carlson BRx6+ GPS receiver.
!!!Please Note: These steps DO NOT apply if you have the original BRx6 receiver and only apply if your GPS receiver
shows "BRx6+" on the front of the unit
In SurvCE 5.09 or higher you can power on your BRx6+ and go into Equip / GPS Base or GPS Rover and in the Current tab
tap the blue box with "i" in it next to Manufacturer: Carlson.
This will display the current GNSS receiver firmware, OSBoot firmware, WebUI firmware
You can click the link below for the instructions on upgrading your GNSS firmware Version to 6.0Aa02a and WebUI to
2.14.200319 if your receiver shows a lower version number:

To download the GNSS firmware file you can right-click the
"BRx6plus_GNSS_060Aa02a.bin" file in the Attachments section in the bottom left of this article then left click "Save
As" or "Save Target As" to download the file.
To download the WebUI firmware file you can right-click the
"BRx6plus_WebUI_2.14.200319.bin" file in the Attachments section in the bottom left of this article then left click
"Save As" or "Save Target As" to download the file.
