In order to have your CR2 show "basic angles and distances", when the program first starts; you must turn on a setting within the On-board SurvCE program.

1. Launch SurvCE.
2. Continue last job.
3. Click on the Equipment tab.
4. Select the Configure button.
5. Turn on "Show QuickView at startup", under the General tab.
6. Tap the Green check mark to save the setting.
7. Go back to the File tab, and select Exit.

When you relaunch SurvCE, you will be shown the standard angles of a conventional instrument.
