Florida Permanent Reference Network (FDOT FPRN)
FPRN18 is a custom Geoid model developed by Florida DOT as of May 8th, 2020
The FPRN staff is always trying to improve service quality. The release of the FPRN18 custom Geoid is intended to
improve vertical GNSS measurements in the State of Florida.
You can scroll down to the attachment section below to download the file "FPRN18.gsf" and and copy it to your Carlson
SurvCE data collector into the folder shown below:
/Program Files/SurvCE/Data/Geoids
or for a SurvPC tablet into the folder path below:
C:/Carlson Projects/Data/Geoids
To set this geoid tap Equip / Localization then tap the GPS tab and tap the Geoid button. Browse to the Geoid and tap
to highlight it then tap the Green Check twice to save your changes and load the new geoid file.
***The older FPRNgd16B.gsf geoid from the year 2016 is also available in the attachment section
