If you cannot recalibrate the touch screen, it is likely that an object/substance had been resting on the display for a
while.
This can cause the touchscreen to re-calibrate automatically, which when the conductive object / substance was removed
(such as perhaps when the unit was pulled from the box) it has not (quite yet) re-calibrated again.
It can take a minute of operation for the unit to calibrate automatically. Otherwise, performing a Hard Reset (holding
the Power button for a full count of 20 seconds) may help.
