Created: 2015-11-04Last modified: 2015-11-04
To use the Low accuracy GPS built-in to the Supervisor you can follow the steps below:
  1) On the Supervsior Tap the “Menu” key on the right hand side below the Power button. Keep tapping the MENU button until you see the wireless options then check the box for "GPS"
  2) Run SurvPC
  3) Go into Equip / GPS Rover
  4) Set it to “Manufacturer: NMEA”
  5) Tap the Comms tab and set it for Com3 at 38400 baud {if this fails try 9600 baud}
  6) Tap the Green Check in the upper right corner then wait about 10mins or so to resolve a position if your standing out in the open with the unit.

If there is any question as to the Specific Accuracy you can store a position where your standing then Exit SurvPC and use the Start Menu to go to "Sleep" Mode. Then power the Supervisor back on and run SurvPC again to store the same point a second time.
