This is in regards to disabling Automatic Windows updates on a Carlson Supervisor tablet.

Disabling Automatic Updates on a Carlson Supervisor


Please follow the steps below to Disable Automatic Windows Updates in your Supervisor tablet:
1. Turn on the Supervisor

2. Tap on the Start symbol in the bottom left then tap "Control Panel"

3. Tap on "System and Security" in the upper left

4. Under the "Windows Update" entry tap on "Turn automatic updating on or off"

5. Tap on the drop down box in the center of the screen. It probably says “Install updates automatically”. (This is what is causing a lot of problems)

6. Tap on the third choice in the box which is “Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them”

7. Tap on the OK button in the lower right of the screen to accept your selection.

8. Exit out of Control panel
