Title: Exporting Topcon TN3 files

This is in regards to using Carlson Survey Standalone 

In Surface / Import_Export / Topcon TN3 file you get an error, "Initializing VBA System...Execution error"

Follow the steps below to resolve this issue:

Scroll down to the bottom of this Article and save the attached file "tinexpor.ocx" into the folder "C:\Windows\System32\" and click NO if it asks you to overwrite the existing file

If you are using Windows XP:
1) Exit out of Carlson Survey Standalone

2) Click Start / Run

3) type in the command below using a space where the underscore is:
regsvr32_tinexpor.ocx

4) Click OK = you should get a message saying "DllRegisterServer in tinexpor.ocx succeeded" / click OK again

5) Now open up Carlson Survey Standalone and try exporting the Topcon TN3 file again


***PLEASE NOTE:  If you are running Windows Vista please follow the steps below

!!! For Windows Vista:

1) Exit out of Carlson Survey Standalone

2) Click Start / All Programs / Accessories

3) RIGHT-CLICK on the "Command Prompt" shortcut

4) Left-click "Run as Administrator" / click Continue

5) type in the command below using a space where the underscore is:
regsvr32_tinexpor.ocx

6) Hit enter = you should get a message saying, "DllRegisterServer in tinexpor.ocx succeeded"

7) click OK / click the X in the upper right corner to close the Command Prompt window

8) Open up Carlson Survey Standalone and try Exporting a Topcon TN3 file
