The Carlson Explorer you have received is pre-loaded with Carlson SurvCE, and the
display settings set to the Windows default. Certain users have expressed a preference
for a higher contrast display setting (black and white). This can be obtained in the
following manner:
1) From the WinCE desktop, Start/Settings/Control Panel/Display
2) In the Display Properties dialog, select the Appearance Tab.
3) From Scheme, select High Contrast White.

Additionally, you may brighten the backlight settings as follows:
1) From the WinCE desktop, Start/Settings/Control Panel/Backlight
2) Slide the backlight bar further to the right or left, as desired.
