Created: 2005-10-05Last modified: 2005-10-05
If you have lost your drawing and would like to recover from a previous automatic save,
Type the word "options" in the command line.
Select the "File" tab,
Then scroll down to "Automatic Save File Location".
This will show you the data path to where your drawings are being stored.
  For example:
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temp\

Copy and paste this location into Windows Explorer.
Once you have made your way to this file location you must
Select TOOLS, then FOLDER OPTIONS, and VIEW.
Under VIEW, Uncheck HIDE EXTENIONS FOR KNOWN FILE TYPES and then press APPLY.

Your last automatically saved drawing will have the name of your drawing with the file extension: .sv$.

For Example: Jones.sv$

You must copy and paste this file to a folder used for storing your drawing files. Such as
C:\Program Files\Carlson Software 2006\WORK.

In this folder, you must change the file extension to a .dwg.
