Knowledge Base

A new “Build” of SurvCADD XML2 has been made on 10-8-04. Here is a list of improvements and fixes found in this build.  Some minor fixes are not listed here.

Edit-Process Raw File:
Updated processing to handle new BD-only record in SurvCE 1.5 for backsight check shots.

Fixed problem with AutoCAD Undo command and improved overall speed of running inside Map.

Triangulate & Contour
On some data sets, all the data was not being used for triangulation.

Coordinate Transformation
The output to new point numbers option would repeat the transformation if the range of points to transform was set to “All”.

Auto-Run Strata Grids
The routine was not using the new per grid option for pinchout and conformance.

Fixed setting the chord bearing when starting a centerline with a curve and using a point number to specify the PT point.

For AutoCad 2004, this routine could error out when using the Sheets output option.

Mining Menu
When the Mining Module was installed without Advanced Mining, there was a problem with the menu file that prevented any of the mining commands from running.

Import Section File – Columnar Text
Fixed a problem with selecting the file name to import.

Input-Edit Profile
Fixed a problem that prevented the Transform function from running.

Point Symbol Layer
The point symbol was being drawn in the layer “PNTMARK” when Separate Attributes Layers was set to None. This layer was fixed to use the point parent layer.
