There does not appear to be a way to disable Windows 10 updates. However, you can use the steps below to set "Active
Hours" for the Windows 10 updates which will help to limit when the updates are applied, thus avoiding applying them in
the middle of a work day:
1) Tap File / Exit / Yes to exit SurvPC
2) Then tap the Settings "gear" icon in the bottom left.
3) Tap on "Update & Security" then tap "Windows Update" in the column on the left.
4) Then tap "Change Active Hours" under Update Settings and set it for 6am to 12am like the attached screenshot then tap
the "Save" button.
Windows won't automatically install updates during these Active hours.
With these new settings, Windows will only automatically install updates and restart during the hours of midnight to 6
AM.
