Monday, April 8
CSI Mobile: 9-10:30AM
This 90-minute seminar will cover topics for the collection of field data for the experienced and novice total station operator alike. Topics from basic operation and field collection techniques extending to advanced crushed vehicle measurement protocols will be will be included. This seminar will apply to law enforcement or non-sworn personnel, crash reconstructionists, or anyone interested in advancing their total station efficiency with the use of CSI Mobile.

A special fee of $50 has been established to allow those interested to sign up for the two CSI classes alone. Please visit the CSI Classes site to learn more and sign up.

CSI Office: 10:45AM-12:15PM
This seminar will introduce the new CSI Office 2013 product. Specially designed for crash and crime scene investigation, this new release was redesigned with an ease-of-use priority at an affordable cost. Demonstrations of the quick import functions from CSI Mobile or other total station equipment, along with the new room builder operations paired with the simple to understand interface is ideal for the first time user or experienced investigator. All law enforcement investigators or private crash/crime scene investigators are encouraged to attend.

GIS360 Getting Started: 1:30-3PM
In this session students will learn basics of GIS360, the easy-to-learn and -use software solution that utilizes both GIS and surveying technologies for field data collection, and its features.

GIS360 is all new from Carlson

All new GIS360 — to navigate maps and collect and report data all in the field.

GIS360 Land Development and Systematic Land Titling: 3:15-4:45
In this session students will learn more about the usage of GIS360 in Land Development and systematic Land Titling projects from around the world.

Tuesday, April 9
Using SurvPC for GIS Work with ESRI OEM and Hardware Carlson Offers: 8:30-10AM
This class will show you how SurvPC will work with the Esri OEM, which will allow clients to work in the Esri MXD file while collecting information.

Land Management and Spatial Analysis Techniques with Carlson GIS: 10:30AM-12PM
This class will primarily focus on applying best practice GIS principles to land management and mining situations, using CarlsonGIS and AutoCAD. We will show how to create more efficient solutions to work flows without changing your Carlson/CAD platform. Some of these solutions include creating a better directory of drawings to use as spatial data, making use of the database feature in CarlsonGIS, and completing basic to intermediate data synthesis using Microsoft Access then displaying the results on a map or drawing for operation or review purposes.

Wednesday, April 10
GIS360 and Esri compatibility: 8:30-10AM
In this session students will learn more about the in’s and out’s of GIS360 with ARC GIS data exchange over WFS.  A basic understanding of Esri products will be the guideline for a start of the discussion and then we will learn more about the different possibilities in exchanging the data.
