University of Kentucky Students Take First Place in the 20th Annual Senior Design Competition

Congratulations to all schools that participated in the 2017 Senior Design Competition! Austin Miller, Cory Murphy, Cole Childress, and Jae Hong Song from the University of Kentucky took 1st place. Alesio Rios, Trever Detomasi, and Ralston Pedersen from the University of Nevada, Reno took 2nd place. Jeff Fetty, Abid Affach, and Grant Talbott from West Virginia University took 3rd place. The 1st place project receives $2,000, the 2nd place project receives $1,000, and the 3rd place project receives $500. Each student from these three schools will also receive a certificate documenting their achievement.

Faculty advisors for these three schools are asked to provide mailing addresses for these students that they may receive their awards. School competition plaques may be updated by mailing the name plates to the below address. If your plaque is full or you do not have one, we will be happy to provide another.
