The class schedule for the Carlson 'Partnering You With the World' User Conference, to be held November 7-10 in Louisville, Kentucky, is designed to help attendees enhance their skills and, as a result, improve their bottom line. All Carlson Software is made to both speed and ease your work -- attend the Carlson User Conference and you'll be better equipped to have Carlson Work for You. Eight "tracks" are scheduled including Survey, Takeoff Estimating, 3D Model Building & BIM, Machine Control, Mining, SurvCE/Field, Civil and an Electives track. Moving the conference's location to the home of the Kentucky Derby, Louisville, Kentucky, and the time of year to November 7-10, the 2010 Carlson Software User Conference promises to be both educational and timely. Classes will cover all aspects of Carlson's extensive product line: from its technically advanced software for surveying, civil engineering, construction, machine control, landfill compaction, and mining through to its new data collection products for crime or accident scene investigation. Coming after the release of Carlson's 2011 product line, the conference will be able to address users' questions about the latest version while highlighting the newest updates to their fullest.

Expanded classes

In addition to its traditional classes for Survey, SurvCE, Field-to-Finish, Civil, Hydrology, Mining, and GIS, the 2010 Carlson User Conference will have a greater emphasis on taking plans from design to the actual building of the project. Classes on 3D model buildingwill be expanded in the Construction track in addition to an entire track added emphasizinClassrooms are roomy and visual displays help in learning.g machine control. Several aspects of utilizing Carlson's PointCloud module will also be explored.

The class agenda for the conference has been designed with Carlson user's needs in mind. The main classes will be scheduled for Monday and Tuesday as in years past, and Wednesday's schedule will dedicated to Surveyor= GPS demonstrations and to special CSI Mobile and CSI Office classes designed specifically for law enforcement personnel. Brown Hotel, Louisville, Kentucky

The entire Carlson Software User Conference will be hosted in one facility in 2010 -- the historic Brown Hotel in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. With extensive conference rooms and banquet facilities in addition to their recently renovated hotel rooms, it will prove an ideal and convenient location for the conference. The local airport is a hub for Southwest Airlines and is serviced by all the major airline companies, providing direct and affordable flights from many of the major cities around the nation. In addition, the hotel provides a free shuttle from the airport, so no need for a rental car, and also free internet access throughout, another major savings and convenience.

As in years past, Carlson Software will host a welcoming reception on Sunday night (Nov. 7), and provide breakfast and lunch on Monday and Tuesday (Nov. 8 and 9), plus host a banquet with guest speakers on Monday evening.
