Meet Carlson Software

From the Prime Meridian to Maysville -- Carlson Software is an International Company

 

Carlson Software, which specializes in office design, field data collection, and machine control products for the civil engineering, surveying, construction, and mining industries worldwide, was founded in 1983 by Bruce Carlson. His goal and that of the company continues to be providing its customers with one-source technology solutions from data collection to design to construction.

Over the years, the company, which is renowned for its personal service, has grown to be a "family" of more than 70 employees worldwide, including many actual family members. In addition to Bruce (center, below), who is the president of the company, two important contributors to the company are pictured here in this photo taken at the Prime Meridian at the Royal Greenwich Observatory in London, England.

Jim Carlson (right), a brother, is the VP of Sales and Support for the company and lives in New York City and travels the entire East Coast on behalf of Carlson Software. Dave Carlson (left), the son of another Carlson brother, is Executve VP of Development and lives and works in Boston.

Bruce works out of the home office of Carlson Software in Maysville, Ky. There are also branch offices in Boston, Mass., Atlanta, Ga., Front Royal, Va., and Queensland, Australia.
